CURRICULUM

UJJWAL TARA has incorporated practical knowledge with government’s curriculum developed by the Curriculum Development Center (CDC) while the Pre school, in addition to this, has Early Child Education Center based curriculum. Above all, the team develops an independent curriculum as per the children’s interest & need to make the learning environment effective for Physical, Mental, Emotional, Social, Intellectual, Spiritual, Cultural Development.

CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT

UJJWAL TARA environment is clean, safe and well designed. We place children in groups by age and development level, and provide activities and learning experiences specially designed for each child’s needs and abilities.

Your child will feel safe and secure in our classrooms which are designed for learning. The child sized equipment, furniture, sinks, and toilets will help your child develop self-reliance in taking care of his/her personal needs.

Extra Curricular Activities:

Food Facility: 

UJJWAL TARA provides healthy and nutritious Lunch and Snacks prescribed by a dietician.

 

Health Check Up:

UJJWAL TARA conducts half yearly medical check up by the Pediatrician.

Medication:

Ujjwal Tara can give prescribed or non prescribed medication to your child at school. We must have written authorization from you. If a child is under medication, Ujjwal Tara provides a special care as well as the prescribed medicine will be served. However, the prescribed medicine must be in the original, pharmacy or manufacturer labelled container with your child’s name, amount and time of dosage.

Field Trips:

Field trips and special activities are wonderful additions to a child’s experience at Ujjwal Tara. Prior to any field trip, the school collects a written authorization of parent for the child to attend.

 

Parent Visits:

We encourage parents to visit Ujjwal Tara anytime. You will enjoy seeing what goes on during  busy days. Visiting child during classroom hours helps you get to know our teachers and let you keep in touch with your child’s daily world.

Transportation:

Ujjwal Tara provides door to door transportation within a territory of 5 kms with an experienced driver and a care taker.

Pre-enrollment Tour:

Ujjwal Tara welcomes all children and parent to  visit school at least once prior to enrollment. This visit gives you and your child a chance to meet teachers, classmates and see the surroundings.

Ujjwal Tara is most suitably located in peaceful area in Ka. Ma. Na. Pa. – 9, Pepsicola Kandaghari, Kathmandu just south of SUNCITY Apartment.
